Recently purchased goods for £902 which were faulty, Amex refused to reimburse because the retailer used a payment aggregator (STRIPE) which I was unaware of, so Amex advised that the use of an aggregator broke the chain between retailer, Amex and me! Lost 992 and gave the sofa to charity. Amex treated me like it was my fault, awful customer, have forwarded details to the Financial Ombudsman but don’t hold out much hope of this changing, it feels like I’ve been scammed by Amex
