newegg USED TO package hard drive carefully, nice premium hard drive bubble bag protecting it on all sides. last month I brought a new hard drive, and this time they used a sh!t quality bubble bag that left the hard drive exposed and touching the cardboard box on one side. MY HARD DRIVE WAS BOUNCING AROUND inside this box and you know how shippers through sh!t when they sort. Newegg also ships by ups surepost. automatic zero for me. Package leaves their california warehouse, sits on a ups truck across the country, gets to a post office 1/2 mile from you, drops it off for the usps to deliver. i dont' want my shiet delivered by the worse package handlers in the business. I had a choice between buying from amazon, or newegg, but choose newegg because of past performance, NEVER AGAIN. newegg is not a good company to buy from now.
