Charged twice for a single item and basically told to “just deal with it.” Extremely disappointed i

I really haven’t had any complaints about this store up until tonight; however after this recent experience I will probably never buy from them again. I was just at their Orem, UT location to buy a set of press-ons and during checkout apparently their register glitched and I was made to charge my card twice. Upon checking my account I saw that I was indeed charged twice (processed all the way, not just pending) for the same item even though on their end it only went through once. I understand this may not be an issue for most people but I am on vacation currently and do not have the extra funds to have my card charged double what the item was worth. When I asked about what I could do they were extremely unhelpful and basically told me to just deal with it until I can call my bank and dispute the extra charge, which is two days from now as banks are closed on Sundays. I understand that electronics do glitch sometimes and this occurrence is not totally their fault, but I did not appreciate how unhelpful the staff was and their response towards it was very apathetic and frustrating. While I know that realistically there isn’t much they could have done because in their system my card was only charged once, I am still left to deal with the double charge and sit with my account lower than it should be simply because their system messed up; knowing now that this is a risk that they said occurred rather often I will most likely never buy from them again; I don’t want to have to go in and wonder if my card will be charged twice for no reason. This is a rather large inconvenience for me and being on vacation I really am upset that I now have to deal with the stress of this when I have been trying my hardest to relax. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the customer service, even though the nails are cute. I didn’t expect to be refunded or anything of that sort, knowing that on their end it only went through once, but for the inconvenience and stress this is causing me I would at least like to warn people that they said this happens rather often, and I will be avoiding shopping there from now on.
