Review of asus

I bought a router modem combo from Asus…

I bought a router modem combo from Asus in 2019. The unit ended up being recalled as defective and uncertified in 2022. I was contacted by my ISP letting me know about the recall. Asus has severely mishandled this case. 1.5 months long email chains almost daily yielding to difficult decisions. They want to force users to pay them MSRP for a rebuilt replacement unit. So they are asking to put a hold on my credit card for 430...for a product they failed in the manufacturing process. It took them 5 weeks just to even present me with a hold quote. I would never trust Asus parts ever again because they don't hold themselves accountable for defective products without third party interference and threats and even when they finally try to actually helps they stonewall as much as possible.

christmas present ordered on 3/12 and not arrived in time for christmas

I ordered my daughter's main christmas present on 3/12/2022 and it still has not arrived. I have contacted customer services 4 times this week and have been promised it will arrive in time for christmas. I have been sent an email today (christmas eve) saying there has been a delay with Evri and it will arrive in the next 5 days. It's now too late to find her the same present elsewhere. Appalling service

Seat Geek

Seat Geek, as one of 3 approved ticket providers, was clearly outlined in the show promotion. I found the system very easy to use.

An order was placed for 2 "outdoor golf games", from Daily Best. After a month, they said my order shipped, from China. I received 2 foam "golf balls" which smelled like moth balls. Several attempts made to correct the order, they then produced a order for, not submitted by me. I sent a copy of my order, stating specifically an order for 2 golf game sets. The order was never corrected. This transaction was definitely "fraudulent" but would be fruitless since they are based in China. Please save your money & buy "American" made. D. Murphy

Review of lg

LG Fridge "10 year compressor warranty" scam

Bought a brand new expensive LG fridge 2 years ago which has a huge label stating that the compressor has a 10 year warranty. Well a few weeks ago our fridge suddenly broke down due to compressor not working, all our frozen goods had gone bad by the time we noticed and we called LG to get the fridge fixed.. Well that's when they decided to inform us that although the compressor might have a 10 year warranty, all the repair costs and side costs related to the repair have to be paid out of pocket. We ended up having to pay $250+ for the repair (1/4 of the price of a new fridge) which primarily involved switching out to a new compressor. Additionally, our fridge is a big fridge, but the compressor for the unit was still a basic fairly small sized compressor and the repairman essentially knew what the problem was immediately as he arrived and immediately changed out the compressor without having to do much checking. Felt very scammed as the "10 year compressor warranty" was a huge selling point considering its from a well-known brand such as LG. Will not be buying household electronics from LG again in the future.

The whole transaction went flawlessly and efficiently! Great people to do business with. Ordered a 40 foot container with a great price including shipping and set up. Arrive in a good time frame considering I had to reschedule for bad weather in SC. Arrived in great shape and driver unloade it into the exact spot that I had laid out. Checked container condition, Quality product, signed release and it took almost no time to setup and level container. If I need more, I know who to call! It will be them!!!

Review of depop

Joke of a company

Depop Payments was forcibly introduced to sellers who now have to wait 10 business days to access funds to products we sell. Upon this update, I asked a buyer to pay via Paypal instead as funds are immediately accesible amidst the cost of living crisis. Following this, I have recieved an app ban. Good on you Depop. I will be selling elsewhere to a company that cares about people.Worst customer service and worst user experience.

Review of clover

This Company will Steal your Money

I went to this company because it was recommended by other small businesses. The reason why I had to switch from the last company I was with was because the credit card terminal was skimming money in wild amounts trying to go unnoticed. Well, fast forward 8 months later of using Clover POS, I have found that they too have been taking my money nonchalantly through the Rapid Deposit account that was set up when I initially did the set up with technical support. I have uncovered $4,562.09 of deposits that Clover POS has TAKEN BACK AFTER THE INITIAL DEPOSIT. On top of a processing fees!!! They have a glitch in their system that charges the customer AND charges the business owner. It gets better... the amount of hours I have spent auditing and uncovering this fraud (which it is by stealing from the business owner) and trying to get a hold of someone in customer service, technical support and trying to talk to someone on a legality side, is absolutely asinine. I have been hung up on, yelled at, transfered to automated systems that get me nowhere (most likely on purpose), and have had to recite my incident to at least 15 different people who have been trained like robots to repeat the same thing. Not a single representative has helped me resolve this glitch in their system. Meanwhile, my customers were charged out of their accounts and the money was taken out of my business. So, where did the money go? Who received that money? I was not me as the business owner. I will be filing a class action lawsuit to accompany all other businesses who have had this happen to them. I have all the documentation providing all the evidence of proof of these fraudulent transactions.

Review of dreamhost

Dreamhost - Great Customer Service

This review is about DreamHost (DH) and, in particular, their Support Staff. I have been a DH client for a year and recently extended my membership for another three years. Why? Because of the Support Staff. Every hosting company provides, you guessed it, hosting services. But what makes a hosting company great is the quality of support, especially for new domain owners with limited technical skills.I always try to troubleshoot issues before reaching out to Support, typically through chat, and I make sure to ask thoughtful, non-redundant questions. But I was once a complete newbie who knew nothing. Every time I've encountered an issue—even in the early days—the DH Support Staff has either fixed it or directed me to a helpful expert. I've spent up to 25 minutes with a single staff member resolving a problem.I truly appreciate the expertise and care you offer your clients. Special thanks to:- Mira: for helping me cancel a previous account- David O.- Gilberto L.- Lindy M.- Diego L.R.And many others!

Review of discogs

Expect to be Screwed Over When Discogs Representatives Do Not Help You

Discogs refuses to make sellers refund buyers after seller accounts get suspended permanently. Or if sellers keep scamming buyers. This is theft. Whoever owns Discogs should be put in prison for theft and replaced by someone who will make buyers get their money back from scammy and unresponsive sellers. Unlike Discogs, eBay representatives refund my money every time if any seller refuses to respond or scams me. Which is why eBay surpasses Discogs when it comes to consumer protection against unrefunded money from scammy and unresponsive sellers. So, I would urge people to try buying from eBay before using Discogs. Especially when Discogs has an unreliable customer support team. Which is why Discogs went downhill. Especially when there are sellers that cannot access their accounts to ship products to buyers when Discogs is a privacy nightmare and has an unreliable customer support team. So, I'll be ignoring pretentious responses from Discogs representatives on Trustpilot.Discogs used to make registering and logging into an account privacy-friendly. Now, they're doing this Orwellian 2-step authentication setup. It shows that the internet has been captured by big tech's Wall Street criminals who datamine and make the world burn for profit. Sad to see the internet be ruined by greedy tyrants who want to violate people's privacy for profit. It's part of the fascist "you will own nothing, have no privacy, and be happy" New World Order agenda that benefits few very wealthy men in power only.Good luck creating a Discogs account without getting randomly banned or not receiving one email verification message. Discogs has prevented disposable emails from being verified since the internet has been captured by privacy nightmare overlords. Good luck resetting your Discogs account's password. Good luck buying from Discogs without getting scammed and your money stolen. Good luck selling on Discogs without nonsense happening. Here is to the liars talking about PayPal positively. Go on Trustpilot's site and search for PayPal. You will get mostly negative reviews of PayPal. I had horrible experiences from PayPal like many others have. PayPal represents the western world's decline when it comes to accountability of screwing over customers. It's showing that civilization no longer exists. That's why I don't use PayPal when that business gets controlled by a mafia freezing accounts from people who go against the western world's dystopian politics. So, I won't use PayPal for purchasing and selling items on Discogs. Whoever owns PayPal should be put in prison, too. I would rather use eBay for selling items than Discogs. Discogs no longer uses the more reliable bank transfer method in selling items. Discogs is now making people use only PayPal for selling items. Which is stupid considering PayPal has horrible customer support service more than banks. Unlike PayPal, I can contact my bank to get things taken care of without an issue. Also, I know people who cannot register on Discogs because CloudFlare makes sites inaccessible to harmless users. So, Discogs has become user unfriendly to people who are trying to register accounts for purchasing and selling items. Unlike Discogs, people can register accounts on eBay to sell and buy items without CloudFlare nonsense.I would like there to be a Discogs alternative with its own music database, users, and items for shopping. Until then, Discogs representatives keep making poor business decisions that keep accumulating. Which is why Discogs has become a dumpster fire. So, I wish sellers start putting all of their items on eBay and make Discogs go bankrupt.

Review of Zoom

poor behaviour

We were early adopters, and I was a fan, up until I tried to remove some subscriptions we weren’t using. This is the point where they became argumentative, obstructive and rude. I’m also dissatisfied by recent unjustified price increases, performance of the Zoom device management, and one-sided approach to terms and conditions. We were looking at expanding our use of Zoom phone and Zoom rooms, but not anymore. I’ve started migrating phone and rooms to Teams, and will be completely rid of zoom in the next couple of weeks.
