Barnes and Noble is not helpful for…

Barnes and Noble is not helpful for publishing books if you need a signed document to prove copyright ownership over your books. They will not provide it to you even if Amazon is insisting on it. It has the ebook option but no bonus for authors to gain from. Once you publish on their platform, you have to find ways to market yourself if you don't want to use their services. They do not have book advertising options. Amazon is better if you want to be paid royalties for readers who read your books. Nook books don't have this option from what I can see. There is also no expanded distribution of your books, so everything stays within their website. You have to work with another publisher for global distribution. Copyright is a problem when it comes to producing puzzle books that quote a lot of scripture. Amazon also has its issues and both of these I honestly don't like.

Review of Zoom

They charge for canceled services!

I used zoom for many years I didn't face any problems until I had addons and they charged me many times, then I tried to cancel the addons but I couldn't they don't allow us to cancel it manually, but we have to contact support to cancel it. Then I contacted support via email and they replied that I won't be charged the next bill, but guess what? They charged me!! And when I contacted them again they told me all that we can do is to cancel it for next month! And what if I charged for the next month again, they will tell me the same! The worst service ever!

Review of teachable

Teachable Customer Support Ruins the Entire Platform

Teachable's technical support is one of the worst that I've worked with in nearly two decades of software consulting. Tickets remain open for WEEKS at a time, and of the tickets that I have opened in the past two years, 92 out of 105 have received generic responses. I cannot recommend Teachable with a good conscience.

Review of Microsoft

Had good experiences most of the times

Overall, I haven't and don't have any issues with Microsoft. I've used their products regularly for years so I have seen a lot of changes from 2003 to now. I do use their Microsoft 360 Office software at work and unfortunately, the apps are sometimes very slow and very clunky. This has caused many organizations to opt for Google Workspace instead. In addition, many people and clients of mine have complained that they cannot do ANYTHING on Microsoft Word unless they have a subscription which is unfortunate but there's nothing to be done there except switching to a free alternative. I do enjoy using Microsoft Teams as a video/call solution and I do like OneDrive a lot. Thankfully unlike other people, I haven't had subscription billing issues; when I cancel, the subscriptions cancels and no extra, shady charges.

OWE ME COMPENSATION FOR FRAUD & HAVE NOT PAID#:34765772 OWE ME COMPENSATION FOR FRAUD & HAVE NOT PAID ME EVEN THOUGH AGREED FEB 23I experienced fraud at the hands of Microsoft for 9 months from May 22 to Feb 23. It was dealt with in such an inept manner that the fraud was allowed to continue for longer than it should ever have been able to. Manohar who dealt with the issue was beyond incompetent. This was recognised by Microsoft and once the fraud was resolved by the Escalations Team I was offered £1,000 compensation in February 2023. I have still not received this money!!! I have chased on numerous occasions and even copied S Nadella in to emails but still this continues on. During the process of experiencing fraud I was undergoing cancer treatments and the inept approach by Microsoft certainly exacerbated the whole scenario. Please pay my compensation so I can finally draw a close to this matter!!!!

I have never in my life decided to ensure that people are protected from what I deem to be bad business, DoorDash is not only lacking integrity but so are the people they hire. Had an issue actually multiple times and the last time I decided to stop business with them all together because they deleted my receipt in an attempt to not refund me for items never received. The dasher also never took a picture of where my food was left and never followed my instructions for handing the food to me specifically to ensure that the issue I encountered would not happen. DoorDash is a waste of money and time they have no regard for the customer. Go Postmates! Grubhub and every body else that deliver for convenience and ensures integrity!

Review of lenovo

DO NOT PURCHASE!!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!Ordered a laptop from Lenovo.com and paid for everything via bank transfer, said I’m the confirmation email that the laptop would be shipped in 1-2 days. A week later I heard nothing after sending an email on the 6th day. I called them and was out through to a customer service rep who told me the laptop i ordered Was not in stock and told me to wait on it coming back in stock but had no idea when and if that would happen!!! Asked to be transferred to a supervisor to ask for a refund and eventually was told I could get one in 5-7 days. Can’t believe I bought a laptop they were never going to send. Most of all can’t believe they didn’t notify me to let me know it was out of stock, I’m convinced if I didn’t phone up to check on the order status I would have just never received anything and my money would have vanished. She also asked me to keep paying my warranty and asked if she could only refund me the laptop price, had to carefully explain why a warranty with Lenovo is useless without a laptop. Honestly the biggest scammers and the worst customer service I have ever received, avoid at all costs!!

Review of dell

Avoid Dell like the Plague

Just to give some perspective between 2000 and 2010 I purchased over 1,500 Dell Computers for London and Oxford University. Installed the first gigabyte Dell network in Somerset House London. 2018i purchased 1000 HP units for the largest College in North Essex. Dell was in decline HP were now offering far better deals and support. Purchase Dell Inspiron Desktop. Initial I had an issue with Hdmi port. Avoid the chat support they read off a script they did not respond to any of the information I was feeding back to them. After 3 hours of doing updates and running test over and over again. How can you run a test when the monitor does not display. These muppets came up with No resolution. I was told I had to use Dell Monitors. Anyway with the help of a local IT guy I fix the problem. There was another problem Windows had been installed on the wrong drive after 5 hours of following there instructions the migration failed. Dell support wanted me to reinstall Windows after I paid for a pc with windows installed, and they were not going to offer me anything for my time and efforts. So after much gnashing of teeth and refusing to install Windows Dell finally agreed to send an technician out to replace the SSD with a working copy of windows. Guess what after waiting in for 4 hours. Telephone call he stuck on a job and will have to reschedule for tomorrow so another day of waiting on Dell. All Dell staff are paid for their time. I am sure if I was not at home when the Dell engineer arrived Dell would have billed me £100s for the engineers time but my time is worth nothing. I have wasted 12 hours, and counting I have asked Dell for some goodwill gesture, not heard anything. Despite Marshal Bayliss Advance Resolution Services was suppose to be a single point of contact apart from the initial contact and promises of turning around the very negative Dell experience, not heard anything from him. Since Dell moved their support teams from EU to India, it has been a disaster. Dell was a great company, their support was excellent one phone call and resolution reached...no more. I will never buy Dell again. It is not the computers it is the absolute shambolic IT support and absence customer service. Should call it amateur support or bargain basement support there is nothing Premium about Dell Support. It should never take 8 hours to reach a resolution let alone 12 and counting. There are better companies even Aldi PC are better my Dad has a ADLI PC still going after 12 years, 3 year support included, never had a problem with it. Dell need to move their IT Support back to the EU, and improve quality control. I must add I asked for a refund under the 14 day distance selling rule on day 5, and was told by customers care I could not have one as the PC was faulty and technical support had to tried and fix. I then requested technically support on day 7 for a refund because I was sick to death with incompetent support I was receiving and they refused to authorise it. Clear breach of UK Trading Standard Regulations.
