Review of capitalone
Long time customer of Capital One. Opened many accounts in the past. Tried to open a CD account yesterday and today online-couldn't. was forced to call 800#. Spent a total of 1.75 hours on the phone with 7 customer service reps. from various dept. in 2 days. Capital One, like other companies have out-sourced majority of their customer service overseas: Noisy backgrounds, and don't give a shi* attitude (no one care if I cancelled ALL my accounts...). even the Supervisor couldn't help us. Imagine I had to verify my identity (provide personal information and photo IDs) to an Overseas Call Center. Hello, where do most of the identity theft take place? I was even told to drive to a physical Capital One Bank to show them my wife's ID in order to put her as a Joint account. I actually hung up twice feeling so nervous giving them my personal information. Even the US customer support, I heard kids fighting in the background... Now, when you are dealing with cellphones or cable company issues, maybe I will put up with this crap. But financial matters-Never! I am so pissed and disappointed at Capital One. Get your act together! What kind of Online Bank are you? Time to look for another financial institution.

The macOS application has been working so good until a couple of weeks ago. Now it crashes before starting, so I can't use it to store and use the credentials saved in the web. The solution provided was to upgrade the OS, which it's not possible anymore. So, I'm waiting for a suitable solution to continue using the application. I hope technical support can help me to keep on using this app

Review of LinkedIn
I signed up for LinkedIn Sales Navigator after being offered a 30-day free trial. Instead, I was charged $153 CAD immediately — with zero warning that I wasn’t eligible. Their system let me proceed like the trial was active. Only after the charge did I discover their fine print excuse: “You used a Recruiter Lite trial 12 months ago, so this one isn’t free.”Not only is that nowhere clearly stated, but they’re also saying I need to wait 13 months, not 12, to be eligible again. That’s not even consistent with their own policy.Worse, the platform itself is a confusing mess. I couldn’t even access a usable interface. It kept pushing me to upload my own contacts with no onboarding, no tutorials, no clarity. When I reached out to support, the agent confirmed I would get a refund, then ghosted me and closed the chat. Another rep later contradicted everything and refused the refund.I cancelled immediately. No value delivered. No support. No accountability. They say you can cancel but we'll keep the money. This is bait-and-switch marketing, pure and simple. I’ve filed a complaint with PayPal, and I strongly recommend anyone considering Sales Navigator look at better alternatives like Apollo or Smartlead. LinkedIn is riding on its brand name, but the product is archaic and the business practices are shady.Didn't realize that it is this bad.
