I recently rejoined AAA after having been a plus member for most of my life. My daughter is in college and thought it would be good to have auto coverage for her in case anything happened with her car. My wife’s car would not start after she was shopping south of Chapel Hill, NC. She called and went through the painful app process to request a tow. Three hours later they said there would be delayed response and my daughter who just came home from college picked up and they said they would be there early Monday. Today at 11:30 they said they had no record of the request (I called to have it switched to my phone number since she was at the office). AAA Carolinas doesn’t just have poor customer service, they appear to be active liars. Doubt they will cover the tow charge from a local company that has stopped working with them, but all the car needed was a jump start.
