Very frustrated

They screwed my Princess cruise booking nearly beyond recognition. Made me book separate reservations to get a cabin for my children and made me use son's name and contact. Both cabins were booked at the same time, on the phone with the same agent, in the same cabin category, supposedly at the same price and with the same promotion offered. What actually happened is that my cabin was booked at a different price and WITHOUT any of the promotion that was being offered. Since I only paid the required deposit I didn't know this until weeks later. AARP Travel tells me they can't change anything and I'm just out of luck.I've called AARP Travel several times and all but one time got an agent who couldn't speak clear English and who I couldn't communicate with.I received an email stating I needed to pay the remaining balance due but when I logged into to pay, it wouldn't accept my payment and told me to call. I did that and of course got an agent who didn't speak good English. After at least 45 min I was told the balance due was now $600 MORE than what I expected because my cabin had been "upgraded." What?? My cabin number hasn't changed.User's recommendation: use AARP Travel at your own risk. It's not worth the hassle.
