I had a terrible experience with Agoda, and I strongly advise against using their platform. I booked a hotel (Haadrin Resort, March 9-10, 2025) through the Agoda app at 11:00 PM, only to arrive and find that the hotel reception had closed at 9:00 PM, making check-in impossible.This crucial information was not clearly displayed during the booking process. If Agoda had properly informed me, I would never have booked a hotel I couldn’t even enter! Instead, I was left stranded in the middle of the night, forced to find last-minute accommodation, which cost me extra money and caused significant stress.When I contacted Agoda for a full refund, they refused to take responsibility, even though the issue was entirely their fault. They offered only a small AgodaCash credit, which is useless to me, as I will never trust their service again. Their customer support is dismissive, hiding behind fine-print policies instead of taking accountability for their misleading booking system.Agoda's lack of transparency and responsibility makes them a high-risk platform for travelers. If you value reliable service, clear information, and fair customer support, STAY AWAY from Agoda!
