As a point of comparison, I've been a customer of US Amazon for many years and a customer of Amazon Germany for a couple years, and I would give both very high grades. Amazon Germany might lose a point for the difficulty and expense of returns from Portugal, but other than that I've had no issues. Amazon Spain is just the opposite. While I'm surprised every once in a while with a very speedy delivery, the typical service is the same as I see described in many other reviews here: Very slow delivery if the product arrives at all; repeated false updates saying the carrier attempted delivery (apparently we somehow missed them while locked down at our houses due to covid); and useless and sometimes arrogant customer support assistance. The single advantage I see in using Amazon ES is that they offer free delivery for some items, but since some items never arrive that value is limited. I should also add that I am sure some of the problem is related to the delivery carriers Amazon ES uses, with SEUR having the worst record in my experience, but I don't get the impression Amazon ES has any interest in addressing the issues. Going forward I will only use Amazon ES if they offer a product I can't get anywhere else or for those few items I know from experience they can successfully deliver.
