Worst credit card company I have ever had. I apply for a gold card, and get one. I realize that I am new at this. I keep on having to call and get approval before they will allow me to charge anything. I am in another state and I have to put my IHG on my Captial One because American Express will not approve it. Then they want $250 fee, I pay that. I have a few things that I am doing, try to make some charges and get denied. On 3/22/24 I call, make an advance payment for $2500, and I am told that I am good to go. On Sunday the 24th I find out these were all declined. I kept getting people overseas, they kept telling me what I did wrong, and were not helpful at all. After my third representative I cancelled my card. I was told I would lose all my points. AX keep your points. I hope you will refund me my $250. I will be writing the Dept. of Consumer Affairs trying to get back my $2500. Others screw them and their travel points.
