I am deeply disappointed with my experience with ASUS, both in terms of product quality and customer support. I purchased an ASUS TUF A15 laptop in April 2023 for my studies and work, investing everything I had—this included borrowing money and using funds reserved for medical expenses. Within just three months, the laptop developed a serious latency issue, requiring me to press the power button for 1-2 minutes to get it to turn on. As the issue worsened, I reached out to the authorized dealer in Sri Lanka for repairs.This is where the real nightmare began. The dealer returned the laptop multiple times claiming that ASUS refused the warranty repair due to "physical damage" to the USB port—a claim for which they provided no evidence. Despite my efforts to get this issue resolved, the dealer continued to blame ASUS, and the laptop remained broken. I was without a functional laptop for months, which severely impacted my studies, my freelance work, and my family’s financial situation.I raised multiple complaints with ASUS, attaching all the necessary evidence, including video proof and records of the dealer’s fraudulent activities, but I received no meaningful support. It’s been months, and I still don’t have a resolution.This has been an incredibly stressful and heartbreaking experience. I invested in ASUS because of its reputation, but my trust has been completely shattered. ASUS has not only failed to provide a quality product but also failed to address a clear case of fraudulent behavior from one of their dealers.I’m leaving this 1-star review because of:Unresponsive and ineffective customer supportFailure to resolve product issues during the warranty periodDealer fraud and lack of accountabilityFinancial and emotional strain this entire experience has causedI strongly advise against purchasing ASUS products unless they make significant improvements in their customer support and service centers.
