I bought a laptop 3 months ago and the hard drive crashed. Confirmed by a repair company that it's a faulty part, nothing I did, and it's still under manufacturer warranty. Asus support said I could mail it in for repairs, which was it's own nightmare of a process. Mailed it FedEx, and it took a full week for them to get it. Then another 4 days with no answer and I got an email saying it would cost to repair because it wasn't under warranty, which was WRONG. So I contacted customer service, they said the part was after-market (bought from Amazon). After a while the support rep came back and said that was in error, the part numbers matched, and they would fix it for free. Said he'd send confirmation, he never did, so 2 days later I contacted support to check on it and this rep told me I still needed to dispute the claim but the claims department is only open M-F. Completely unhelpful, insanely slow, and infuriating. I will NEVER buy another Asus product again.
