We have used Jira in the cloud for a while and had self hosted confluence. They discontinued self hosted and now confluence is only available in the cloud and had to migrate.The migration instructions specified doing a test migration followed by a real migration. Well I couldnt delete the test migration as per the instruction. Seems like an issue related to the billing system that was made in 2020! So they had to manually delete the site. I confiermed with them several times I wanted confluence deleted, but they nuked our jira site too.Incompetent, inattention to detail, your data can be lost at any time, and bugs in the billing system go unfixed for 4 years.Since jira is lost project planning will move to another platform as of now. When I have time, confluence will be the next one to migrate to a competitors product. Bitbucket is next then. Cannot trust them with anything.
