I started using Avast several years ago because I was getting to the point that I needed some internet protection. I checked around and me being on social security only, I couldn't afford them. Then I came across Avast that was, at that time, free. So, I went with them, and they have taken real good care of me and my computer. However, as things progressed in the internet world, I have now, for several years, been paying for my service. I can just barely keep up with it and if the cost goes up very much more, I will just have to shut down my puter and go without. I'm 87 and I use my email for most of my communications with what family I have left. In my checking around, I find that Avast is comparable, if not a little cheaper than the others. I would recommend Avast highly to protect your systems. Dar Stow
