As a long-time, if sporadic, AVG user, I just committed to a year of AVG Internet Security. However, a significant drawback is the constant upselling within the application. After running a Smart Scan, it invariably flags "performance issues," which then leads to an advertisement for their Tune-Up software. I'm skeptical of these reported issues, as my computer's performance feels fine during regular use, making these alerts feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine concern.
