I guess it had to happen one day. After discovering that my BBC news channel has become a radio phone in, I went on line and cancelled my TV licence. It felt great!!! Most of my adult life I have resented being forced to pay for something I hardly use. Imagine if we all had to subscribe to Netflix's premium service under threat of prosecution and a £1000 fine. Getting 6 months worth of refund was a lovely bonus. Turns out I can still use the only BBC services that interest me: weather app and news app. And no I don't stream or watch any live content from any source now.
