Thought I was placing an order from Bed Bath & Beyond. I came across this site, on Yahoo News as a going out of business sale. However once I had placed the order an "invoice" popped up from a company called NOVVA Limited (out of Hong Kong) that said charges will appear on my bank statement as Ceurwa HK. The site stated I would be receiving an email showing the purchase, which never came. I then contacted the "company" and they actually did respond back, asking for the order number which suddenly disappeared on the ordering site, (which I had attempted to copy and print out) but the order number was suddenly gone. This all started Sat Jul 15 2023. I just got off the phone with my bank and thank goodness there have been no charges placed on my account until now. I was told just keep an eye on things. It is such a shame that with all companies, now a days we have to be vigilant 24/7 365 these days. In closing I can only say, I know on line shopping can be great and convenient, but if you want to shop with a business and cannot search and find a "direct" link to the store, (meaning if anything other than the businesses direct link shows up) just don't take the chance, because there is a very high possibility that it is a trick and all out scam.
