I have used Bitdefender for almost a year and except for the unwanted and irritating popups, it has been satisfactory. However, I wasn't aware that the service automatically renewed, and when I tried to login to cancel my renewal the login process didn't work -- no error messages, but I just got another login screen. I changed my password, whis worked (so Bitdefender recognized my email address) but I got the same results with the new password -- just another logon screen. Not sure what is going on, but I suspect I may have trouble cancelling my subscription. We will see. As for contacting support, I just get a long list of historical 'fixes' that may have worked in the past but are off target in my case. No opportunity that I saw to talk to a person. After submitting the review above I received an email from Bitdefender saying they appreciated me continuing my subscription and renewed me at a lower price. Just to be clear, I was trying to cancel my subscription! Either they don't get it or they are intentionally ignoring my request. However, I was finally able to log into their website, and although you have to jump through hoops, I think I was able to cancel the subscription. In summary, they may be reviewed as the best software for security, but to me, they are unresponsive to my requests. Your mileage may vary.
