I used to be a blackmagic fan, owned several cameras, had a switcher but received no real support!You can ONLY get support when you pay for their software and making them rich by buying hardware from them will not give you and rights to get just a friendly guy on the phone.I have a last piece i just gave on ebay from them as I will not like to be reminded on their name.There are more companies such as Avid which knows the word service and aftersale!For all reading this, just take my advice, my rating is not just done by a little time, I spend years and years with them, they stink! They are rude and they are snobby!Their hardware is not so good any way and for that price [please check on google, than check on trust pilot for their ratings and than buy!Remember you are the King as YOU are the one paying as a customer!BTW I wrote to the EU commision and copied the email from their (so called support) that I can't get free support as I do not own a paid copy of their stupid software I do not need.I use Final Cut Pro and Premiere and I just needed to have BMD hardware..They need to give free support by EU law!Will be continued as they will be fined!
