Unscrupulous, fraudulent and predatory 

I recently took a two week vacation and used booking dot com to plan my lodging. The hotels were OK but the privately owned property I encountered was horrible. There were unhygienic conditions in her property plus the whole building was being held up by red support poles and wooden planks on every balcony, front and back of the building. I complained to the property owner and she did not respond in under three hours ensuring that because it was the evening by then that I would have no place else to go. I reached out to booking and they told me they were going to help and that they would call me back in 30 minutes and they never did. I kept emailing the owner of the property but neither she nor booking dot would respond so I had no other choice but to make alternative lodging arrangements because I wasn’t going to sleep on a pillow case with a blood stain on it and in a building that seem like it could collapse at any momentI then asked the property owner for a refund which she denied. So then I reached out to booking several times for assistance even asking for senior agents to get involved and every single time the call was dropped. And I mean every single time. I did research Online about this and it seems like thousands of other people have the same experience. And then I realize that Spain and the Netherlands have class action lawsuits launched against booking dot com as well as hundreds of hotels all over the EU. Unscrupulous, fraudulent and predatory.
