After booking and paying through Booking.com, I went to the accommodation sites web page to check out the facilities. Inadvertently, I found that had I booked DIRECT with the motel, it would have been cheaper. After finding this out, I was extremely disappointed with Booking.com and decided to close my account several days later only to find that it is near IMPOSSIBLE to close your account with them. Even though they have an option hidden in security to close your account, there is ALWAYS a systems error that does not allow you to close your account. And you have more chance of winning the lottery that contacting Booking.com to close your account. Stay clear from this organization. I will be forwarding a complaint to the consumer regulatory body in Australia in order to close my account.
