I’m writing this review after trying unsuccessfully for over 5 days to get any response from Booking.com’s customer service, regarding a truly unacceptable stay.Booking Confirmation Number: 4644055039Hotel: Savoy Hotel, CopenhagenDates: June 18–21, 2025I paid €300 per night for a room that looked absolutely nothing like the photos on Booking.com.The room was dirty, moldy, dusty, and full of hair. Even worse, there were insects crawling around. The “marble” shelves advertised in the listing were actually cheap plastic with a printed pattern, peeling and stained — a complete scam. The condition of the room was simply unacceptable, far below any standard of hospitality.I tried to change rooms but due to a large city event (3daysofdesign), everything else was fully booked. I was left with no choice but to stay in that room.I contacted Booking.com's support multiple times via the platform, but no one has replied to me after 5 days.Yes, the staff at the hotel were kind and the location is central — but that does not excuse the false advertising and complete lack of support.I have photos and videos clearly documenting the state of the room and would be happy to share them — but Booking.com doesn't even provide a working customer service email anymore. This experience has been deeply disappointing and unworthy of a platform that claims to vet its properties.I’m requesting a full refund and, at the very least, a proper response.
