I paid for the premium and created a 10-minute video in their browser complete with many clips taken from other YouTube videos, recordings, and AI-created images. I gave it a title and I thought everything was being saved. It was not. As I pressed Play to review the video that had taken me 3 hours to create, I got a pop-up saying, "Your recent changes haven't been saved. You may lose your work." I then tried to save the video but it said "connecting" but it never connected. It then said, "An internet connection is required." My high-speed Internet was working fine with no issues. Long story short, I lost the entire video and had to start all over again using the downloaded version. Note to the programmers at Canva: Scrap the browser-based version that permanently drops the Internet connection but allows you to keep working on a project you will never see and stick with the downloaded software version.
