A company with no loyalty to customer of over 20 yearsCompletely out of the blue I received a letter from Capital one credit card services stating they had done a customer review on my account and decided that they are to terminate my business with them from immediate effect .No reason given , I rang their customer service team to demand a explanation, I always pay my monthly statement in full on time so I was confused. The advisor I spoke with was not obliged to give me a reason for their action but could confirm I was no longer a customer and my card and internet account was no longer active but needed to clear my monthly statement . The only reason I can see why they have done this is because I don’t pay any interest in my spending with them so they deem me a bad customer as they can’t charge me the high interest rate they offer on non clearing of the monthly spend.Cancelling my card while I was on holiday with no warning until I opened their letter on my return was bang out of order especially when I had my card declined while away , thank goodness I had another card I could use to save my embarrassment.
