Terrible Bank. Terrible technology for 2024. Terrible for travellers.

Terrible Bank. If you are the type of person that travels at all, DO NOT USE CAPITAL ONE. They have an archaic system that only allows verification through a US number. So, if you are travelling, and anything happens to your phone. They basically say "You have no access to your account. And we won't help you at all". Can't even pay the bills that they send you. They can't even send you your statements to your email. So, you can't even look at your statments. It's 2024 and you haven't figured out any other verification method other than a text message? Pure incompetence. I have my passwords, I have my email address, I have my government identifications. I have secret questions and answers. I even have my own full self. I have my payment history. I even have the account info that pays off my Capital One Credit card. Still no way to access my account overseas?If you can FIND ANOTHER BANK. I'm closing my account as soon as I get back into the country (obviously). And, going with ANY other bank, that understands that technology today allows for flexibility AND security at the same time.
