My son loves chess.com and really got into it during COVID lockdown. He has become a decent player and recently played some great games to win one of the chess.com online qualifier tournaments - only to find himself suddenly banned for unfair play. My son is not the sort of kid to cheat and I happened to be sitting next to him during the tournament and watched some of his games - I know that he definitely did not use any unfair means. We have appealed this but they have offered no evidence of what aspect of his game they consider to be unfair. They have banned him and blocked his account regardless. To me they now have zero credibility - you would be better using lichess which is free and playing over the board tournaments. They want your money but are running it like a dictatorship without any care for whether someone is genuinely cheating or not. No integrity.
