I tried sending 2000 XRP from my Trust…

I tried sending 2000 XRP from my Trust Wallet account to my Crypto.com Ripple wallet. I copied the XRP Wallet address from the Crypto.com app and pasted it into Trust Wallet. There was no Destination Tag for Ripple XRP in the Crypto.com app so I assumed I should leave it blank; however, when I tried to send the XRP tokens from Trust Wallet the button to send was greyed out when the Memo (Destination Tag field) was left blanking. Assuming that it would be the closest thing to a blank entry, I entered “0” into the Trust Wallet Memo field. I pressed “Next” and Trust Wallet posted a message that the XRP had been sent successfully. I checked the Blockchain information and everything seemed to have gone smoothly. However, when I checked my Crypto.com Wallet, it was not there. I waited a few hours, then a day, then I contacted Crypto.com’s Help chat. I wrote a lengthy explanation of what happened and posted 4 different screenshots showing all relevant information and numbers. I have waited 3 days and still not a single response. I am becoming very depressed and frustrated since it amounts to losing more than $1600 in a single failed transfer and Crypto.com has made no attempt to communicate with me to let me know either way what has happened and whether or not the XRP can be recovered. Do the lost XRP tokens simply disappear forever into the ether with no way of recovering them simply because I was forced to enter a zero into the Destination Tag field? How is this technology expected to replace paper money in the modern world? People will be losing their life’s savings and livelihood every time they make a simple typing error. Scary.Update: Crypto.com finally contacted me by email, so I guess leaving reviews on TrustPilot is the only way to get their attention. I sent them all the pertinent information but so far my XRP transfer has not been reversed or sent to the correct Wallet. The DeFi Wallet app (white app) does not indicate that a Destination Tag is necessary nor does it provide one. However, after going to the Exchange app (blue app), there is a Destination Tag for XRP. Thus, I am guessing that silence on their end means that the 2000 XRP is not retrievable and is now floating in Cyber space or will make someone else with the same address number very rich one day if they are able to access it. It seems ridiculous to me that people are able to lose their life’s savings over an incorrectly entered tag number. What an archaic and foolish system. Crypto.com, I guess you did what you could but you seriously need to update your DeFi app and provide a Destination Tag and a notice that it is needed within that app.Update 2: I waited another six hours for confirmation either way as to whether I could recover the lost 2000 XRP or not and received none. I downloaded another crypto wallet/exchange called XUMM, deleted my wallet from Crypto.com and re-installed it on XUMM. Miraculously, the lost 2000 suddenly appeared. Crypto.com had obviously been hiding or trying to steal my 2000 XRP which will be worth millions in the future. I will be taking legal action against them for their criminal activity. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, honest lawyer in Singapore or Hong Kong?
