I've been trying to buy a laptop from Dell and applied for their financing and it's been a poor, sad experience. They said they need to verify me so I sent a copy of my D.L, home insurance for address verification, credit card that matches my DL info and I waited.No one contacted me no email to tell me what was going on. I finally contact Dell and was told that they cannot accept my credit card as a second form of ID but rather a copy of my income tax assessment, Citizenship card, Permanent residency card or a Passport. None of their agents can tell me what happens to my info after they use it to verify me or where it would be stored. The verification and customer service sucks and so is the communication. Dell need to step their game up in customer service. I'm so glad this happen because if this is the kind of service I'm getting as a new customer, I can only imagine if I got a product that is broken or defective. I WOULD NOT recommend Dell and I would NEVER buy a dell product.
