A Really Bad experience - start to finishLet me start by saying this is a brand new computer that I just received and turned on for the first time. There was n immediate error message pop up that happened before the home screen even loaded. I managed to cancel it out b clicking it 5 times and finally got the home screen to load and here it pops up again. Clicked 5 times to close it again. RunTime.dll or something is not present. I manage to open the edge browser and download Firefox, my preferred browser and get it up. 2 minutes later I can't open firefox and a new error message pops up referrencing this same runtime.dll missing. Now the internet won't come up as another error message pops up for that. So I call your "help" line.....1) First call I was hung up on after giving my name.2) Second call I finally got through and couldn't understand a word the lady was saying. We struggle to do a couple things on the start up menu and nothing works. This takes about 30 minutes.. She wants me now to send her an email with a picture of the error. It take 10-15 minutes to just get her to type my email correctly and send it over. I had to repeat myself 8 times at least. Throughout the call she kept calling me the wrong name. First it was Paul (my dad who gave me the computer for Christmas) and then she changed my name Richard, which I assume was her way of calling me a Dick. Totally unprofessional. She finally gets my email and says it is a software issue that she can't fix and she will set up a call back with the software help service to which i say that is fine. Now comes the good part. She tells me I have to pay for help from them and I am going TO BE CHARGED for this!!! Are you kidding me.. Needless to say this is totally unacceptable and I tell her as much.. She puts me on hold and then comes back and says the SAME EXACT THING that I am going to be charged. I hang up and spend the next 3 hours on the phone with my Dad trying to fix this brand new computer. How are you going to charge someone for a problem that was directly from you. The only thing I had done to this computer was turn it on and it immediately had an error message. Truly HORRIBLE customer service!!!
