I bought an Inspiron 14 5000 in March 2021. Barely used it until July 2021. After using it for a couple of weeks then, a corrupt update gets installed and I lose the ability to access the system. Despite being under warranty Dell refuses to replace the device and forces me to go through tens of videos aimed at making me perform a rescue attempts, all of which were unsuccessful. It took them 7 days before reaching the conclusion that they will need to look at the device, and then another 7 days to arrange for collection, in addition to the 7-10 days foretasted to look at it, excluding the shipping time. I was working to time sensitive deadlines and won't have a laptop for a whole month, a laptop that was 4 months old when it died. Disappointing customer support and product. I would not buy Dell again.
