Normally I haven’t had a problem buying until recently, when Depop emailed me twice after 2 separate purchases telling me that the sellers accounts have been shut down because they were fraudulent. Now they won’t cancel my orders or do anything to assist me. It’s all my problem now to make disputes with pay pal. They do nothing to help when they can easily just cancel the orders and refund me. When emailing them they just repeat the same thing over and over again and don’t care. The scammers were on their website/app and they’re telling me there’s nothing they can do and it’s mine and pay pals problem ?? Not that pay pal is hard to deal with, it’s just that it takes atleast 20 days for the dispute process. I shouldn’t even need to go through a dispute process. I was scammed, Depop knows, and instead of just cancelling it on their end they’re making me deal with it. Also the currency rates are always changing and the longer the refund process takes the more the currency changes. It’s happened to me in the past my refund was less than I originally paid due to this, which is also frustrating. You think they’d be able to cancel an order from their own platform! Will never order using Depop again
