Scary DoorDash delivery experience and no help from customer service. Had bottle of wine delivered & delivery person couldn’t scan my drivers license. He didn’t take a picture or enter the info into the app. He pounded on my door 5 minutes later and demanded order back. My license is current & valid. Never had a problem like this before, if it couldn’t be scanned. He didn’t take a picture of license. I also had my passport available. Driver was very aggressive and I’m a female who lives alone-scary! I was charged the full amount and DoorDash would not refund, due to their “alcohol delivery policy”. I did nothing wrong & the driver failed me. They didn’t care, citing policy. Escalated to a supervisor who didn’t help & told I would receive an email follow up, which just took me back to original order. Customer service with GrubHub is stellar with 1st call resolution!!
