AVOID IT BIG TIME

My experience with Dropbox started very nicely. Three years ago, but about one year ago, I realised that nothing is being synced from my laptop to their cloud. So I had a lot of interaction with the support back and forth. And in the end, they couldn't fix my problem. We tried everything they offered. And I ended up losing a lot of files because coincidentally my laptop crashed and tonnes of files were not backed up. So after this incident, I decided to stop my Pro account, I stopped paying them. which I paid for one year already so I had to wait another eight months. And I switched to another cloud backup system.But the thing is I've been uploading files for three years, up to the Dropbox cloud, probably more than 400 gigabytes or maybe even more. And now I'm trying to download those files to my laptop so I can upload to the other cloud, but that's also impossible.Their technology is so old. This agents that work on the desktop, doesn't do anything well. I can download those files to my Dropbox folder on the laptop but I cannot move it to anywhere else, I cannot even copy it to anywhere else. The error is "another programme is using these files". But I make sure the dropbox agent is completely turned off and I exited it. And it still gives the same error. If I uninstalled the dropbox agent than I can't see those files. So it's a complete pain in the ass. I don't recommend anybody to use Dropbox. Avoid it big time.
