Lack of service and help! I placed an order last week and the seller assured me it had been sent and was supposed to arrive by Saturday gone. Tracked it on yodel only to be told that the tracking ref didn’t exist. The seller will not reply to my messages. Opened a case but I accidentally closed it by mistake. There is no way of reopening or revoking the closure of a case or even just opening a new one. Spoke to eBay on the phone , useless and so unhelpful. The first man I spoke to was pleasant and told me they could email me something to say that I had spoken to them for my bank to see I had tried contacting them. I then spoke to the “manager” Luke, who was so patronising and condescending I had to hang up on him, because I couldn’t listen to him anymore. Ebay are clearly happy to have sellers on their site who take customers money and don’t send the items. It’s not even about the money, it’s just the principle that somebody has gotten away with theft and they don’t care.
