There is not a problem with the chat function and person at the other end - I found very professional. The problem is the Economist policy to make it very very very difficult to cancel my subscription, then heaps of upselling from chat person, including making super offer but still not cancelling. It was only after I pushed and pushed for a refund that they agreed to that. Also when I asked for record of our conversation to be sent via email - they refused. Never sign up to anything with the Economist is my recommendation. And I have a problem with the 5 star rating system - you should be allowed to choose 0!!
