I'm horrified, to say the least, subscribed for the $20 AUD for 12 weeks, and after checking numerous times on the economist website, there is no way to cancel your subscription which indicates that this newspaper company does not care about customers. Received an email welcoming me to a new subscription which I did not sign for, and they promised to deduct funds out of my bank account on the 15th of December 2018, and this morning to my surprise my money has been deducted. What I find surprising is I had emailed their team advising them that I did not sign up for another subscription, hence they must cancel everything. I did not get a response, now all I see are funds deducted from my account. This is simply fraudulent business practices, and I will escalate this as far as I can in Australia to ensure people are aware of these crooks!!! They care about consumers' money, and for that reason, even if their subscriptions reduce significantly, I will never subscribe again to any of their services...
