Just tried to buy a coat and paid with Amex platinum credit card in Corte Ingles in Palma.The turnover was deducted from my cc but Corte Ingles had internal issues with their book keeping system. Transaction was however properly booked from my cc. Showed and proved the deduction to them in the store and also spoke with amex who advised not to leave the store without coat as it was properly paid and deducted. CI even refused to confirm to me that they did not hand out the coat to me. I was forced to spend in total 2 hours to clarify this and at the end the managing director was shocked how unprofessional and poorly the manager of the women store handled the situation. Worst experience ever.....
