On the Sept. 10 episode of PTI, Wilbon and Kornheiser defended the actions of Serena Williams arguing as Williams did, that it was based on long standing racism and gender inequality in tennis. In essence, they were defending the actions of a bully who attempted to intimidate an official and ultimately ruined the experience of her opponent's victory. A majority of school shootings today are motivated by retaliation for bullying. Their endorsement showed their lack of recognition of this major issue. In my opinion, Williams recurring episodes of attempted intimidation will forever negate her accomplishments. The lack of wisdom and insight by Wilbon and Kornheiser will remove me as a recurring PTI viewer
