If an organiser has only listed their event with Eventbrite then the customer doesn’t really have a choice whether to use it or not. I used to think it was excellent, until something went wrong and I realised Eventbrite don’t have any helpful customer service! A company not having any contact telephone number or online chat is a major red flag nowadays.My experience…. an event organiser failed to provide a service, so I requested a refund on the platform. The event organiser replied stating they weren’t able to issue a refund via Eventbrite due to system restrictions , so I contacted Eventbrite’s ‘support’ to ask for help.Eventbrite sent me this “We reviewed your request and are not able to issue a refund at this time as the event in question does not appear to be cancelled.”They offer no solution. The event organiser has taken my money, not provided the service, and Eventbrite refuse to help.If there is an alternative to Eventbrite, I would use it.
