My flight was cancelled less than 48 hours before my trip. Expedia told me to book a new flight and pay again—except now prices are $300 more because it’s last minute. To make it worse, they’re refusing to refund me for the cancelled flight, saying I need to deal directly with the airline (who isn’t answering emails).I booked through Expedia, not the airline. Passing the buck and offering zero help is unacceptable. If they’re just a middleman with no responsibility, then what’s the point of booking with them at all?Avoid at all costs.
