I booked a one-night stay at Tru by Hilton near Toronto Airport through Expedia, as I had a 13-hour layover in Toronto. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, and I informed Expedia more than 24 hours in advance that I wouldn’t be able to make it. Expedia reached out to the hotel to request a cancellation and refund, but the hotel refused! This lack of flexibility and understanding, especially for unforeseen circumstances, was extremely disappointing. I’ll never use this hotel chain or book through Expedia again. Terrible experience!”
