Redmi 4- FlipkartShopping and Delivery Feedback- Now I will put the review for the shopping and delivery experience only. Here the price shows as Rs. 9445, but when you are about to order, they will charge you Rs. 9998. I sent e-mails to get an explanation and they only send only copy paste answers. ''We'd like to let you know that price and discounts offered by sellers for products vary from time to time and are valid only for a certain period. We suggest that you place an order immediately to avail any offer you like as sellers may run out of stock for products.''The customer service department is pathetic and they think that the customers who are buying online are fools. Even we know that offers change from time to time. I wanted to ask why the price differs between what is shown and what is charged when we click on ''Buy Now''. But after writing 15-16 mails, I did not get any response.I did not want to buy the phone online, but since none of the stores in my area, nor the own Xiaomi online store had stock, I was forced to buy it from flipkart. I wanted to buy Redmi Note 5, but since stocks were not available anywhere, had to settle for Redmi Note 4. This was my first experience with Flipkart, and it was a really bad one. I ordered it online on Tuesday Sep 18, 2018 and it showed that it will be delivered on Friday, Sep 21. I had requested for a delivery before 2 PM, because after that I have to leave for office. I wrote several e-mails, but I only got copy paste responses. Then on Saturday, since morning I started calling Ecom (the courier service delivery partner) but the courier guy never picked my call. I sent e-mails to flipkart and twice two executives called me to assure that it will be delivered on Saturday before 7 PM, and it was not. And I knew this will happen, and exactly the same thing happened. The delivery partner sent an SMS to me ''Customer not available'' and hence could not deliver. I again raised a ticket and got automatic reply, ''we are looking into the matter and it will be resolved by Sep 26th''.Finally on Sep 23, 2018 Sunday I called the delivery partner and to my surprise he picked up the call and finally delivered the product at 2:30 PM. So the first base was finally successful. And to my shock, they did not even allow me to put this feedback on their site. Amazon is a lot better, as they do not filter the feedback even if it is negative.
