On the plus side, it just works every time! Set up is quicker than any other form builder I've tried, alignment is automatic and adapts to any device, conditions are easy and logical to set up, email notifications are customisable. It blends seamlessly into the website in which it appears as various elements can be changed via CSS (if, like me, you're not an expert at this, chat support are very helpful and will guide you through it). There is much to like. However ... an irritation for me is that changes are made on the live form instantly. You can clone a form to practice on, but one false move on the real thing and the world can see it instantly! It would be nice if there were a facility to save your changes before going live. Secondly, and one that is making me look around, is the exorbitant pricing for light users. After the first 12 months, the annual price increased from $174 to $288 (before conversion to GBP) for the lowest priced paid version. I have just two enquiry forms and accept no payments or require a database, and have to pay this purely not to have the Jotform branding on my form, which doesn't look very professional when integrated into a website and may also concern users that a third party is seeing their information (despite being assured it's encrypted). I feel there should be a 'lite' version at a considerably reduced price for users such as me and that more customers would be attracted to Jotform if it were offered. I'm due to renew in January and I'm seriously exploring other form builders prior to that.
