I hired a company from this website and they never came to work, but took our money. Mold Maids was the company-after 4 months of trying to get mold removed and them making their own hours, nothing getting done I finally fired them. They stole our money. Went to arbitration and won and of course Mold Maids refuses to pay. I feel Home Advisor should step up and at least pay half seeing how I got the company from them!! Never will use Home Advisor again. They owe us $9400.00 that is a lot to steal from a senior citizen on a fixed income and now we have to come up with money to pay the company that cleaned up the mess. Just found out he has a lengthy record with the police and is now in jail too. Home Advisor never did a check on this company and I am looking to see about taking the company to court.
