My printer is out of warranty. The problem I had was with instant ink, which I have been enrolled a couple years now. It wouldn't print saying I wasn't enrolled. This happened last week. The problem was resolved by chat in about 10 minutes. It happened again today. After about an hour, I get transfered to another tech who remotely fixed the problem but I was told, because the printer was out of warranty, I should be charged $14.95, but out of the goodness of their heart, they would wave that charge. It wasn't about the printer. It was about instant ink. If this happens again, I'll just buy cartriages & cancel instant ink.
