Like many others, I wasn't given the oppurtunity (through a Lastpass email stating that they noticed I didn't have much in a way of a backup to my password such as facial recog/finger print, etc and now, after about 8 years, or so, I can't get in EVEN THOUGH I was already logged in but didn't remember the password. Although I had written it down, again, like most people, I ended up losing the pw through many attempts to find it. I tried everything including an attempt to revert to my old password which didn't work. and THEN after that suggestion, they have in their notes that if you deleted the cache (which is exactly what they suggested doing IN THE STEP BEFORE) now you have no recourse at all??? seriously? No way to contact support at all. Like many others, I do not plan on letting this occur again so will look for a new company today. I will have to recreate a couple of hundred passwords now. My fault in part but also Lastpass.
