Disgraceful customer service

Ordered the much-hyped R2D2 for Lego's May the 4th promotion. Free gift with purchase never arrived, because they 'ran out of stock'. I ordered the item on 1st May, the day of the launch. Lego clearly ran out of the free item on that day but kept the promotion on their website all weekend, KNOWING THEY DID NOT HAVE THE STOCK. This is FRAUD!Complained to Lego and got a 'tough luck' response with a smiley face at the end.Today, Lego helped me grow up and realise that they are a company who simply don't care about their customers, just like so many other companies. It's time for me to leave Lego behind. I am closing my account and will never buy from Lego.com again. I am also going to stop buying Lego for family, nieces, nephews etc and will be sure to tell them why.As a collector, I've spent a LOT of money on Lego - they've lost a loyal customer. Goodbye, Lego :)
