This company's substandard service is unacceptable. In Tanzania, my refrigerator malfunctioned twice within three years, both times due to compressor failure. Under warranty, I engaged LG's service center, experiencing a two-month repair delay. Furthermore, the initial transport damage remains unaddressed. Their failure to proactively disclose compressor shortages and potential 2-3 month delays is egregious. This information is only revealed after a 100,000 Tshs ($40 USD) consultation fee is paid, an excessive charge for a preliminary assessment. I strongly advise against purchasing LG electronics, particularly in East Africa.
