Ordered a custom countertop for the Kitchen. After a one month wait it finally arrived. (pretty simple 2 piece straight counter) So we scheduled a plumber and removed our other countertop and went to pick this one up. When we got there they brought it to us standing on it's side (backsplash part) with the second piece sitting on top of the other the same way. ... this was my first indicator I better check this thing out. Rolled it out in into light and noticed several scratches that I could have dealt with then I moved the other piece and noticed they had used it to cover a 2 and a half inch crack in the backsplash. Took it back in and told the customer service and figured they would get someone to come talk to us ..... nope the lady just refunded our money. My wife was like what is this ..... and the lady said your refund. My wife was like I need a countertop not a refund. Went back to the countertop area and could find nobody. Went back to front and asked for manager .... Ethan finally showed up and when we told him the issue he was like well you shouldn't have asked for a refund because now this countertop is entered into returns. My wife was like well we didn't ask for a refund your person just gave it to us and we are in a spot now because now we are stuck with nothing until we can get a replacement (another month). Asked Ethan what kind of discount he would offer he said 10% .... You could tell he cared less about our expense or position now with no countertop and a kitchen half tore apart. I was like well I would buy it at half price or less to use until we can get another but not 10% off a badly damaged new itemSad service and nobody cared that we had ordered this a month ago or had paid a plumber to do the instillation or that we had already tore our old one out.
